In August 2023 Egeria acquired a majority stake in Sonic, together with the founders and management.
Sonic is a global specialist in the development, marketing and distribution of premium filled toolboxes and storage solutions, primarily supplying into the automotive aftermarket. The company sells its products in over 65 countries with locations in the Netherlands, Germany, Austria, France, Taiwan, Italy and the US.
Most of its products are sold via (automotive) distributors with the remainder being sold directly to end-customers. Sonic has built a compelling brand in the tools market offering premium quality at attractive pricing. The company is market leader in the Netherlands, has a strong position in the DACH region and has grown successfully in the US.
