In May 2019, Egeria, together with the management, acquired a majority stake in Maas Aviation Group.
MAAS Aviation Group specializes in painting passenger aircraft and has a leading position in this market worldwide. The company was founded in 1982 in Ireland and since 1988 has also been active in Maastricht, the Netherlands. MAAS has successful partnerships with both OEM and airline customers. In addition to repainting aircraft at dedicated MRO paint shops, MAAS has also built up a great deal of expertise in the design and development of advanced state-of-the-art paint shops. MAAS’s paint shop infrastructure ranks amongst the best in the world.
The company has forged a very successful partnership with Airbus Group and currently operates four dedicated OEM paint shops for Airbus at the latter’s manufacturing facilities in Hamburg, Germany, and in Mobile, Alabama. MAAS also operates a further five MRO aircraft paint shops in the Netherlands and in Mobile, Alabama.
