A former Rabobank financial complex at Blaak 333 in Rotterdam is being converted into an apartment block with commercial units around the base at street level. The design includes about 350 rental apartments. The neighbouring Leuvekolk canal will also be renovated. New infrastructure will connect the commercial units to the canal facilities. Both developments will boost the Blaak area and liven up the streets.

“Blaak 333 is a new premium concept of 324 urban apartments for a young, professional audience who require a more mature option of living, on a prime location (Blaak) in the center of Rotterdam. The concept makes use of a smaller-scale footprint while placing an emphasis on quality and connection. Reading and learning play a central role in this residential concept. Young professionals are not just neighbours; they are going through the same stage of life together. Residents can share their interests in order to create an evolving, interconnected community. Blaak 333 is a 25 floors high, sustainable tower with generous communal spaces that people can treat like their second living rooms. It’s an open and inclusive environment that promotes learning and wellbeing.”
