Wouter brings more than twenty years of private equity experience across Europe and is involved in new investment opportunities and the development of Egeria’s investment platform. He is a member of Egeria’s Investment Committee.

He has a strong track record in building and scaling European investment platforms, partnering with ambitious mid-market entrepreneurs and management teams, and delivering successful investment outcomes. His experience spans business services, education, TMT, software and financial services, shaped through senior roles at leading European and global private equity firms, including Levine Leichtman Capital Partners, PGGM Private Equity and Permira.

Wouter is known as a reliable and delivery-focused investment partner with an entrepreneurial mindset and a strong belief in long-term partnerships. He enjoys working in non-standard situations that require creativity, trust and close collaboration with entrepreneurs and management teams.

Outside of work, Wouter is often found on the sidelines of the rugby pitch, refereeing matches at his sons’ games. He also has a strong interest in music, design and art, reflecting his broader appreciation for creativity and craftsmanship.
