In December 2006, Egeria, together with the business unit management, acquired the activities of the Textile Processing Chemicals (TPC) business unit from the listed chemicals concern Lanxess A.G. Subsequently, the acquired activities were renamed Tanatex Chemicals.
Tanatex Chemicals is a leading chemicals supplier for the textile processing industry. The company develops, produces and delivers textile auxiliaries for a wide range of customers in the garment, carpet finishing, automotive and technical textiles industry. Tanatex Chemicals focuses on providing high-end technical support, new R&D developments, and rendering continuous technical service and support to its customers.
Tanatex Chemicals is headquartered in Ede, the Netherlands, and has offices in all the major textile processing countries. It operates from two production plants in Europe and has toll manufacturing sites in Argentina, Brazil, China, India and Taiwan. Tanatex Chemicals has sales of approximately € 120 million and employs more than 300 people worldwide.
Tanatex Chemicals was sold in July 2014.
