The Rotterdam Science Tower is located in the Makers District, comprising the areas of RDM Rotterdam and Merwe-Vierhavens (M4H), the ideal location for new businesses to develop into established enterprises.
The project consists of the refurbishment of the 22-floor office and adjacent parking garage. The ground floor and surroundings of the tower will be completely redeveloped, transforming the character of the tower. This will serve as an appealing and representative landmark entry point to the Merwe-Vierhavens area. The ground floor is to be designed with a focus on adaptability and its intended multifunctional role, creating spaces for cafés and restaurants, flexible working and conference spaces, networking spaces for (larger-scale) gatherings and exhibition spaces, enabling innovative businesses from the local area or the tower to showcase inspiring innovations.
