In August 2008, Egeria and the management acquired Nijhuis Industries from Alpha Group International.
Nijhuis Industries specializes in the design, production and installation of (waste) water treatment and sludge processing systems for industrial applications. Nijhuis Industries originates from a company with over 80 years of experience in the field of water and has installed more than 1,800 systems worldwide. Nijhuis Industries is currently active in more than 50 countries. Its main fields of activity are the food, chemical, petrochemical, paper and textile industries.
The company is based in Doetinchem, the Netherlands, and has sales offices in many countries such as Germany, the United Kingdom, Poland, Russia, Indonesia, China and the United States.
Nijhuis Industries employs around 140 employees and has annual sales of some € 30 million.
Nijhuis Industries was sold in July 2014.
