Hans is an investment professional with over two decades of experience in private markets, asset management, and corporate governance. Since 2000, he has been with LGT Capital Partners AG, the alternative asset management division of LGT Group, where he rose to Partner and played a pivotal role in coordinating private markets operations, managing listed investment companies, and participating in investment selection across Europe.

Following a planned reduction of his engagement with LGT Capital Partners in late 2025, Hans joined the Egeria Group Board, bringing his expertise and strategic advice to bear on long-term value creation across Egeria’s activities. His broad skill set spans the legal, financial, and operational aspects of complex investment structures, complemented by deep knowledge of international markets.

Hans holds a PhD in Economics from the University of St. Gallen and has served as director of multiple investment entities, as well as contributing to governance bodies such as pension fund boards.
