The company is one of the world’s largest providers of bottled water delivered directly to residential and commercial markets. Sparkling Springs serves more than 250,000 customers in the Netherlands, Canada, the United Kingdom, and the United States.
Sparkling Spring Water was founded in 1971 to operate in the bottled water industry. The company’s primary focus is to sell purified water. It is therefore active in the bottling and delivery of high quality drinking water in three-gallon, five-gallon and six-gallon bottles to homes and offices. Sparkling Spring also sells cups, water dispensers, and portable water devices; it provides cooler sanitization and maintenance services; and it sells purified water in smaller servings through vending machines.
The company was sold to Groupe Danone in January 2003.
